The Man with the Straw Hat

First of all, as I already told you, good job ^_^
I mostly agree with =LilaeaBluecoat
I like the way you did his eyes: deep and full of emotions, and, believe me, it's hard to do!
Now I have to say what I think you should work on more <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/> Nothing strictly wrong in your drawing, so don't worry ^_^.. is that I'm a perfecionist <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title="Blush"/>
I think you should have added more depth to the face: especially around the nose and the eye on the left which is (I know) difficult because it's almost hidden in darkness. The wrinkles you draw look very realistic, but I would have emphasized more.
The "biggest mistake" (and be sure <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Wink)"/> I don't think it's a very big mistake) I think is the ear, ears are really not easy to draw, every ear is different from another, so I understand you, but with a little exercise I'm sure you'll be able to do every ear you can imagine ^_^
Last point: the hat. I read what you said about it and the straw: it's hard, and makes your eyes crossing! improve your straw abilities by using photo references ^_^ It's always useful.
