Description
Oils on a 50*40 cm cotton canvas
Ok this is my first ever oil painting. Had to find out how it worked and stuff first so this is kinda a test project but think it turned out pretty ok.
Not sure what the best way is to photograph it yet so this is the best i could get out my camera
Reference used from a picture from internet for the idea.
Please feel free to give comments, point out faults or give tips as it would really help me in advancing a bit in Oils.

Overall
Vision Originality Technique ImpactThe skin is off to a good start. It shows you have a basic understanding of shadows. The hair and wrinkles are a bit thick and lacks much volume.
the collar looks smeared like it is blending into the neck and I don't think that was your intention. The skin could use some more color and layering. maybe add some blue and a very thin skin tone over all of it.
Is the paint brushes painted on it?
